很高興今天訪問一位NexSeed的學生Koh，24歲的他竟然已經有了8年的剪髮經驗。成功不是偶然，而是持續不斷的努力，我不確定對於他來說什麼是成功，但是他一直在做所謂有價值的事。是否我們都太害怕跳脫舒適圈，太害怕未知的未來，而裹足不前，往往我們欠缺的只是持續不斷的努力與跨出那一步的勇氣，聽完Koh的分享之後，很佩服他的想法與毅力，以下Koh訪談分享。
It’s a pleasure to interview a student in NexSeed, his name is Koh, 24-year-old and has an experience of 8 years in haircutting. Success is not accidental but a continuous effort, according to him. I’m not sure what success is for him, but I’m sure what he's doing is valuable. We are afraid of leaving our comfort zone and face the unknown future. Maybe all we need is courage. I admire him after the interview. Let’s see Koh’s sharing.
已經造訪過很多國家的Koh，為了更精進自己的英文而來到NexSeed，他喜歡交朋友，旅行後覺得英文仍然有很大的進步空間，他覺得如果他的英文再好一些，就能夠更加了解在世界各地的朋友。在NexSeed的時光，他享受著學習英文的每分每秒，特別是體驗課程，能夠有機會深入當地許多地方。
Ko had been to several countries to improve his English skill before he came to NexSeed because he likes to make friends around the world. He thought he still has a lot of English knowledge to learn after travelling so he could understand more his friends around the world. He enjoys studying English every moment in NexSeed especially experience class. It is a very good chance to explore many places.
ABOUT KOH
Ko在很年輕的時候就想要成為髮型設計師，希望可以到美容院學習剪髮的技巧，因此國中畢業之前他蒐集了100張美容院傳單及電話，想要打電話尋找願意教他剪髮技巧的店家，當他開始一一致電美容院，很幸運的在第一通電話就獲得實習的機會。之後，他晚上就到美容院打工，也在便利商店打工，結束回家洗個澡後回到美容院練習相關技巧，再緊接著上課，假日還去了為期三年的藝術學院，這樣忙碌的人生就是Ko的求學生活。
Ko has wanted to be a hairstylist since he was young. He hopes to learn haircut skill in the salon so he has collected 100 flyers with the salon telephone number and tried to get the chance to learn in a salon. One day, he was lucky to get the chance when he started calling for the first time. Then, he started working at the salon at night. Before going home, he went to have a part-time job at convenient store . After that, he took a shower and back to the salon early in the morning. He practiced his skills in a solon and also at a beauty school on weekends for three years.

STREET HAIRCUT TRAVELLER
Koh的世界旅行地圖在18歲時從美國紐約開始，選擇紐約的原因是，這個城市有著來自世界各地的人，那次的旅程也讓他開了眼界，之後更旅行到香港、澳門、泰國、台灣、宿霧，他的旅行方式常常是帶著非常少的旅費，利用他的剪髮技能交換食物或是金錢，也因為他旅行的方式如此特別，常常發生一些意想不到的趣事。他說三年前第一次到宿霧時，一無所有的他從機場步行到市區花了半天的時間，開始在宿霧市區街頭剪髮，交換旅費，剪了一整天下來他得到兩百披索。現在他又再一次造訪宿霧，為了讓自己的英語更流利，來到NexSeed語言學校。
Koh’s world travel map started from America in New York City when he was 18 years old. The reason why he chose New York City is that there are many different foreigners gather in the city. He really got wide experiences from that trip. He also travelled to Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand, and Cebu. He brought a little amount of money to travel and used his haircut skill to change to food or money. He said three years ago when he travelled in Cebu for the first time, he didn’t have any money, so he walked to the city half day and started cutting hair on the street. He got only 200 pesos at that time. Now, he visited Cebu again for studying English and to make better, so he chose NexSeed. At the moment, he is enjoying his life as a student and planning to use his skill in haircutting to his classmates and friends.
FUTURE
問到Koh在NexSeed畢業後的計畫，他準備之後要來一場歐亞大陸的滑板旅行，而滑板運動也將在2020年首登東京奧運，很佩服他的勇氣與決心，也很期待他之後精彩的旅程。
When I asked him about the plan after graduating from NexSeed, he planned to have a skateboard trip around Eurasia (Europe and Asia). The skateboard will become one of the competitions in Olympic 2020 in Tokyo. I admire his courage and determination. Also,I am excited to know or witness his trip in the future.
